FACE TO FACE DELIVERY OVERVIEW

Delivered face-to-face at our training facilities in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth, our ICAM Facilitator course is designed for individuals with limited incident investigation experience or those who may be required to assist a Lead Investigator as part of a workplace investigation team.

Through practical, trainer-led sessions grounded in real-world scenarios, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of the ICAM method, including its history, purpose, and how it is applied to real-world workplace incidents. The training covers essential topics such as legal and regulatory obligations, types of workplace incidents, and the importance of a structured, systems-based investigation approach.

Participants will learn how to assist with critical investigation tasks, including identifying and collecting various forms of evidence using techniques like PEEPO, conducting or supporting structured witness interviews, and contributing to the development of accurate incident timelines. The course also explores how contributing factors are identified using accident causation models and how to support the formation of effective remedial actions.

Through interactive group activities and a hands-on simulated incident scenario, learners will apply their knowledge in a practical setting. By the end of the ICAM Facilitator course, participants will be well-equipped to support a Lead Investigator and contribute meaningfully to a thorough and compliant workplace investigation.
