Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Training

ABOUT THIS COURSE

This Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Training course provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfil their role as a Health and Safety Representative (HSR).

This course equips HSRs with a practical understanding of the WHS legislative framework, the roles and responsibilities of duty holders, and the functions and legal rights of HSRs and Health and Safety Committees (HSCs). Participants will learn how to identify and manage workplace hazards, consult and negotiate on WHS issues, and take appropriate actions, including incident notification, conflict resolution, and the issuing of Provisional Improvement Notices (PINs) or directing unsafe work to cease.
