ABOUT THIS COURSE
This Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor course is designed to equip mining supervisors with the essential skills and knowledge to manage safety and risk effectively in accordance with legislative and site requirements. The course focuses on key risk management principles and the application of effective consultation processes to support the implementation and monitoring of workplace health and safety systems.
Participants will gain a practical understanding of the Mine Safety Management System (MSMS), relevant WHS and mining legislation, and the responsibilities of supervisors in relation to training, incident response, and compliance monitoring. The course covers hazard identification, risk assessment and control, consultation duties and techniques, and the implementation of workplace policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
