Our face-to-face Working at Heights Supervisor course is a nationally accredited two-day program designed to equip participants with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to safely work at height, conduct thorough risk assessments, and develop effective rescue plans in compliance with health and safety legislation.
This course is ideal for workers and supervisors seeking to enhance workplace safety and emergency preparedness through developing rescue plans.
Participants will gain a clear understanding of key concepts, including the definition of working at height, relevant WHS legislation, and the legal responsibilities specific to Height Safety Supervisors. The course offers practical instruction on selecting safe anchorage points and using height safety equipment across various systems such as fall restraint, work positioning, and fall arrest, along with correct ladder setup and use.
A significant focus is placed on rescue planning, covering suspension intolerance and hands-on practice of rescue techniques and equipment. Participants actively rehearse and review rescue procedures, building confidence and competence in responding effectively to height-related emergencies.
