BLENDED DELIVERY OVERVIEW
Our blended Working at Heights course offers participants a flexible training solution, combining the convenience of self-paced online learning with a half-day, in-person practical session held at our training centres in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Braeside or Perth.
This nationally accredited Working at Heights course is designed for individuals who perform or supervise tasks at height and need to meet workplace safety requirements in line with current WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, and Australian Standards.
Participants begin by completing the theoretical component through our interactive online learning platform, which covers topics such as the hierarchy of control measures, developing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and conducting effective risk assessments to mitigate hazards before work commences.
Once the online theory is complete, participants attend a face-to-face practical session at one of our purpose-built training facilities, where they apply their knowledge in simulated workplace scenarios. These scenarios include using height safety systems, such as fall restraint and arrest systems, work positioning, setting up ladders, choosing anchorage points, following emergency procedures, and maintaining equipment.
