FACE TO FACE DELIVERY OVERVIEW
Delivered face-to-face at our training facilities in Port Melbourne and Braeside, our nationally accredited Elevating Work Platform (EWP) over 11 metres course is facilitated by experienced trainers and combines interactive classroom learning with practical scenarios that reflect real workplace conditions.
This course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to operate boom-type EWPs where the length exceeds 11 metres. Participants will also complete the national Safe Work Australia assessment, which is a mandatory step in applying for a High Risk Work licence (HRWL).
Participants will learn how to identify hazards, plan EWP operations, conduct routine inspections, and implement risk controls. Participants will gain hands-on experience in setting up and operating the platform safely, using safety devices correctly, and safely shutting down and securing the equipment. The course also covers different types of EWPs, relevant high-risk work legislation, emergency procedures, and effective communication methods.
