Childcare First Aid

ABOUT THIS COURSE

This Childcare First Aid course provides participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to respond to first aid emergencies, including those involving infants and children, in accordance with guidelines set by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC). It covers key topics such as first aid principles, the responsibilities of a first aider, recognising and responding to emergencies, and assessing and managing a wide range of medical conditions.

Participants will learn how to perform CPR, provide care for conditions like asthma and anaphylaxis, use first aid equipment, effectively communicate with emergency services and workplace supervisors, and maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality.
