ABOUT THIS COURSE
Our Low Voltage Rescue and CPR course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely perform a rescue from live low voltage (LV) electrical apparatus. It covers key responsibilities in managing risk, applying safe work practices, and complying with relevant work health and safety legislation. Participants will learn how to assess an incident scene, use a low-voltage rescue kit correctly, and apply rescue principles in accordance with industry standards.
The course also includes training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), aligned with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. Participants will learn how to assess the casualty, apply the D-R-S-A-B-C-D protocol, and hand over to emergency services.
