ABOUT THIS COURSE

The Advanced First Aid course is designed for individuals who are required to respond to complex emergency situations and coordinate first aid in the workplace or community.

This course provides participants with the essential skills to assess casualties, manage incidents, and deliver advanced first aid care. It covers key areas such as hazard identification, secondary assessments, CPR including the use of a bag valve mask, and basic triage for multiple casualty incidents. Participants will also develop the ability to communicate effectively with emergency services and manage first aid resources in line with established procedures.

This course is ideal for first aid officers, safety personnel, and individuals responsible for workplace health and safety who are looking to strengthen their emergency response capabilities and confidently manage high pressure situations.
