ABOUT THIS COURSE

Our nationally accredited Hazmat Response course equips general workers and Emergency Response Teams with the skills to safely manage hazardous materials incidents. Through hands-on training, participants learn to assess incidents, wear appropriate PPE (including gas-tight suits), and identify and handle hazardous substances. The course covers HAZCHEM legislation, emergency response protocols, and key safety documentation such as HAG sheets, SDSs, and HAZCHEM codes. Practical components include establishing control zones, containing spills, conducting decontamination, and performing rescue operations. This comprehensive training prepares participants to respond confidently and effectively to real-world hazmat emergencies in the workplace.
