ABOUT THIS COURSE
This Emergency Response Planning course is designed to equip personnel with the skills and knowledge required to fulfil Emergency Response Team (ERT) roles. Participants will learn how to review work activities and conduct inspections from a rescue planning perspective, identify hazards and associated risks, and recognise gaps in standard operating procedures.
The course focuses on developing effective rescue procedures, recommending appropriate control measures, and adapting response techniques using available equipment. Through practical, scenario-based exercises, participants will work as part of a team to plan and implement emergency responses to a range of dynamic incidents, ensuring they are prepared to respond safely and effectively in real-world emergency situations.
