ABOUT THIS COURSE

Our nationally accredited Issue Work Permits course provides the skills and knowledge to review, authorise, and manage a range of work permits in high-risk environments. Participants will learn the purpose of work permits, the roles and responsibilities involved, and how to ensure safe work practices.

The course covers hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures across permit types, including hot works, isolation, excavation, working at height, and general work. Learners will gain practical experience in reviewing and issuing permits, communicating conditions, monitoring compliance, and keeping accurate records. Scenario-based activities reinforce learning and build confidence in managing permit-to-work systems in line with workplace procedures.
