Our online Confined Space Awareness Course is delivered through a flexible, self-paced e-learning platform featuring interactive modules, quizzes, and simulated scenarios to support engaging and practical learning.

Participants can complete the course at their own convenience from any location, gaining essential knowledge to identify confined spaces, understand associated hazards, comply with relevant health and safety legislation, and implement mandatory control measures.

The course also covers key topics such as confined space documentation, including rescue plans, permits, and record-keeping requirements, preparing learners to recognise risks and understand the procedures required to work safely in and around confined spaces.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

This is a non-accredited training course. Students who complete this course will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate is issued by Pinnacle Safety and Training (RTO 40496).

ASSESSMENT INFORMATION

Assessment is conducted through short quizzes designed to reinforce learning and test understanding. Participants must successfully complete each quiz to demonstrate their knowledge and receive their certificate of completion.

COURSE SELECTION

This non-accredited Confined Space Awareness course is designed for individuals who may come across confined space areas during their work but are not involved in entering them. It is recommended for those in job roles where they may be working in environments where there is the potential presence of confined spaces.

PREREQUISITES & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Age requirements

Participants must be at least 15 years of age. Participants under the age of 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian to enrol and participate in this course. Consent will be obtained during the enrolment process, and a signed consent form must be submitted prior to the start of training. Refer to our FAQ for more information.

Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital skills (LLND)

Participants are required to have at least a Year 10 level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills and be able to read and write in English. This course requires a basic level of computer literacy to navigate the online learning system and complete course activities.
