ABOUT THIS COURSE
This course provides the skills to supervise safe removal of friable and non-friable asbestos-containing materials (ACM) in line with legislative requirements. It covers asbestos risks, licensing, risk assessment and developing an Asbestos Removal Control Plan (ARCP), plus site planning and preparation.
Participants also learn supervisor responsibilities including health monitoring, record-keeping, compliance documentation, environmental controls, PPE and respiratory protection, decontamination supervision and correct waste disposal. Participants will learn to supervise asbestos removal safely and in compliance with regulations.
