Our nationally accredited Remove Non-Friable Asbestos course combines interactive classroom learning with practical, real-world scenarios. Designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to safely remove non-friable asbestos-containing materials (ACM) in line with current legislative and regulatory requirements.
Participants will learn to identify asbestos hazards, understand associated health risks, plan and prepare for asbestos removal, and implement safe work practices. The course covers the review of asbestos removal control plans (ARCPs) and safe work method statements (SWMS), proper use of tools and personal protective equipment (PPE), and effective site isolation and containment methods. It also includes instruction on carrying out the removal process, decontamination procedures, waste management, and meeting documentation and reporting obligations.
