Important changes are coming to the Low Voltage Rescue—CPR (LVR-CPR) course. From August 26, 2024, the unit requirements for this course will be updated nationwide to reflect the latest industry standards.
1. New Prerequisite Requirements
To attend the LVR-CPR course, all students across Australia must meet one of the following mandatory prerequisite requirements:
- UEECD0007: Apply work health and safety regulations, codes, and practices in the workplace; OR
- UETDREL006: Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker; OR
- An ESI or Electrotechnology Qualification or Equivalent: For more information or for questions, please call us on 1300 990 810.
If you cannot provide evidence of any of the above qualifications, you can complete our online Electrical Safety course to satisfy the prerequisite requirement.

These updates ensure that all workers are adequately prepared to handle the challenges and safety demands of working with low-voltage systems. By aligning course requirements with national standards, the goal is to provide the best possible training and ensure the highest levels of safety and proficiency.
